About Christopher Corben
Paid Media and Analytics Specialist · Surry Hills, Sydney NSW
Christopher Corben has worked in digital marketing for more than fifteen years. He began in 2009 at a Sydney agency doing SEO, then moved across into paid search and performance marketing, which is where managing live budgets against results became the work he kept coming back to. His marketing study was completed at UTS in Sydney. Before starting his own practice he ran digital and growth teams, and in 2020 he founded Corben Digital.
Most of what he does now sits in two connected places. The first is how a paid account is built. He tends to organise campaigns around how customers actually search and buy rather than around a wall of keywords, keeping ad groups tight, asset groups deliberate, and the account simple enough that Google and Meta can find patterns instead of fighting noise. The second is signal quality. A campaign only learns from the conversions it is fed, so he spends real effort making sure the events handed back to the platforms are the right ones, counted once, and tied to outcomes the business genuinely cares about. Conversion rate optimisation belongs in the same conversation, because traffic that arrives ready and lands on a page built to convert lifts every campaign feeding it.
Chris stays close to the work. He is the person in the account adjusting bids, rebuilding asset groups, and tracing why a conversion did or did not register, not someone passing instructions down a chain. His clients are usually e-commerce stores, professional services firms, and SaaS businesses that want plain answers about what their advertising is doing. He reports openly, talks straight, and would rather build an account that holds up over years than chase a quick result that fades by the next month.
He is based in Surry Hills and keeps his client list short on purpose, so each account gets proper senior attention rather than a slice of it.
